Bella Craddock

Bella Craddock is a Solar Consultant at Eden. The person who first gets in touch is often a sustainability lead or operations manager, but the decision usually sits with the finance director. So Bella's proposals go beyond a quote. They include clear figures on payback, return on investment and carbon savings, plus a view on how to fund the project: outright purchase, asset finance, or a fully funded, off-balance-sheet agreement where the client pays only for the power they use.

In her experience, choosing the right structure often matters as much as choosing the right system.

Bella joined Eden in January 2023 after working across the wider energy and sustainability sector, in biomass fuel supply, solar PV sourcing, LED lighting, ESOS and SECR reporting, and carbon footprint measurement. That background gives her a view of where solar fits within a client's wider sustainability plans. Since joining, she has worked with clients including Brose, as well as businesses in food production and the film industry.

What keeps her in solar is that the work lasts. A commercial system cuts a company's energy costs and carbon emissions for 25 years or more, so every project she helps get built keeps paying back long after she's moved on to the next one.
