Eden Sustainable is a wholly-owned subsidiary of AMPYR Distributed Energy (ADE). ADE itself is part of AGP, a global investor with over 20 years' experience and some $6bn worth of sustainable energy assets already financed or under development.

Our History
2014
Eden is Founded
Eden Sustainable is founded by Steve Baker and Scott Burrows. They developed, constructed & operated their first rooftop assets, including the UK’s largest ‘Solar School’.
Post Subsidy
Post subsidy-era, Eden designed & implemented innovative rooftop construction financing facilities with Close Brothers.

Gaining Recognition
Awarded Oasis Academy Trust schools portfolio, winning ‘Contractor of the Year’ award.
Solar PPAs
Over the next 3 years Eden went on to develop Solar PPA assets for a range of funders, including Octopus, Armstrong, Powen and Atrato.
New Offices
Our head office opened in Exeter, where it remains located, today.

Eden wins the first of three successive Sunday Times 100 fast growth company awards.
2022
B Corp Certified
Becomes a certified B | Corp.
Eden enters its first of several rapidly executed PPA transactions with new funder, AMPYR Distributed Energy (ADE).
2024
ADE Collaboration
ADE acquires 100% of share capital in Eden Sustainable.
2025
