For the third consecutive year, Eden proudly sponsored this prestigious event in the French Alps.
Directors Steve Baker and Scott Burrows, along with Business Development Manager Zac Baker, embarked on a scenic 920-mile journey from North Devon to Val Thorens in an Eden electric vehicle (obviously).
There, they joined over 650 enthusiastic property industry professionals for three days and nights filled with networking, snowboarding, skiing, and purpose-filled exploits.
What is PropSki?
PropSki is not just a jaunty word fusion – it’s an annual event where real estate professionals meet and network through a range of well alpine activities in the invigorating setting of the French Alps. For the last 10 years PropSki has provided a heady mix of networking events which occur before, during and après ski, bringing together people from different parts of the property industry. These participants include developers, funders, landlords, consultants - and of course solar experts too.
PropSki has had a strong connection with Protect Our Winters (POW), a non-profit organisation dedicated to combating climate change since Scott brought them together 4 years ago. Since then, Propski hosts activities that raise both funds and awareness for POW's mission.

Over the last 4 years at PropSki, the Eden team has helped raise around £70k for Protect Our Winters (POW) UK and found an enthusiastic audience keen to support POW campaigns. .
Eden's mission for a more sustainable future.
Eden, a key participant in Propski and a B|Corp, aligns its efforts with POW by advocating for renewable energy solutions and minimising carbon footprints. We also believe we’re doing everything we can to embody social and environmental responsibility. This collaboration highlights the shared commitment to protecting the environment and ensuring a sustainable future.
POW’s roots are in the snowboarding community and the impacts of the climate crisis are particularly noticeable in the French Alps. Eden’s co-founders Steve and Scott are lifelong snowboarders and lovers of the mountains.
How do we demonstrate sustainability at the event?
For the past four years, Eden has made the journey from North Devon to PropSki in an electric vehicle. Practicing what we preach helps us passionately communicate our message. While traveling by EV takes longer than flying, it's actually quite peaceful, and with multiple drivers, it's a productive way to get work done. Of course, it's not always practical for everyone to travel by EV, but it sparks great conversations about how we can all make a big difference as businesses and individuals.
Kudos to the PropEvents team for making charity a core part of PropSki. The skiing and après-ski activities make networking especially effective, but the charitable purpose empowers everyone involved. The property sector shows fantastic support, raising funds through auctions, raffles, merchandise sales, and partnerships.
It's Not All Hard Work!

PropSki 25 marked the third time Eden hosted the prestigious Meet & Ski event. PropSki is renowned for its array of sponsored networking events, and every morning, hundreds gathered at La Maison café by the piste. They shook off their hangovers with coffee and connected with fellow skiers and snowboarders for the day ahead. From there, the networking moved to the world-class slopes of Les Trois Vallées.
Zac, Steve, and Scott, being seasoned snowboarders, explored the full extent of the epic resort with different industry colleagues each day. One particularly memorable day saw them take a lively group of energy professionals to Courchevel for croque monsieur and frites.
Over the years, Eden has helped numerous businesses on their sustainability journey by engaging in climate action, supporting Protect Our Winters (POW), and promoting solar energy. Steve and Zac showcased their father-son DJ skills at the PropSki 25 closing party, bringing the three-day event to a grand finale. As friends old and new said their goodbyes, the focus shifted to following up back in the UK.
Eden's mission to decarbonise UK buildings in the fight against climate breakdown continues, with dozens of new relationships and friends to work with.
Let us help you become more sustainable.
Contact Eden to discuss how you can benefit from solar energy. By doing so, you can increase your property value, support sustainability and decarbonisation goals, save money, and improve your energy security.
Don’t forget to support Protect Our Winters (POW), and who knows, we may see you at PropSki next year!
