Rob Whitney

Rob is Eden's IT and Content Development Manager, a role that spans two sides of the business. 

On the marketing side he leads strategy, content, the CRM, video production and events, and gives the sales team the material they need to win work. On the IT side he looks after Eden's systems and supports colleagues day to day, helping them get more from the tools they already use so less time goes on admin and more goes on clients.

He joined Eden in 2024, when the business had very few case studies to point to. Building that library is the work he's proudest of: Eden now has 48, including a growing collection of client videos.

Rob is a Business Information Systems graduate from the University of Liverpool and an ex-teacher with over 18 years of experience, which goes some way to explaining a job that mixes technology with storytelling.

Outside work, he's a founding member of the North Devon World Surfing Reserve and is building Protect Your Patch, a fundraising tool for the reserve programme that captures people's love for a place and makes the case for protecting it. He was previously a director of North Devon Moving Image, a community interest company that gets young people into filmmaking.
