Jamie Brimblecombe

Jamie is Co-Managing Director of Eden, leading the business alongside Justin Leger. Jamie comes at every decision from the financial side and Justin from the legal side, and both keep a close eye on whether it makes commercial sense.

A chartered accountant (ICAEW) since 2015, Jamie has been involved in finance structuring and portfolio transactions at Eden since the business started in 2014. He led the finance work on Eden's funding facilities with Close Brothers and Thrive, and before that worked on the successful exit of Ventia, the previous business of co-founder Steve Baker. The deal he's proudest of is the acquisition of Eden by AMPYR Distributed Energy, which he led with Justin.

The question CFOs ask him most often is what the risk is. His answer is straightforward: they're signing a long-term agreement. But that same agreement lets them budget accurately for a large share of their power over the full term, and save money while doing it.

Outside work, Jamie spends as much time as he can with his family. He coaches his son's football team and is player, manager and committee member at a local men's football club.
