The Challenge
The Park Plaza Cannock, a leading Midlands office space, faced increasing energy costs and growing pressure to reduce its carbon footprint without disrupting day-to-day operations. With rising utility bills and ambitious sustainability targets, the management team sought a long-term energy solution that would deliver measurable savings, improve energy independence, and reinforce their commitment to environmental responsibility, all without the need for significant upfront capital investment.
The Solution
Eden Sustainable conducted a detailed feasibility assessment and designed a bespoke solar PV system tailored to the hotel’s energy profile and roof structure. Leveraging our CAPEX funding model, we enabled Park Plaza Cannock to benefit from a fully funded solar installation, eliminating the barrier of initial cost while providing immediate access to renewable energy.
Our in-house experts managed every stage of the project, from system design and planning through to installation and grid connection, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations. The result is a high-performance solar solution that seamlessly integrates into the site’s existing infrastructure and delivers clean, reliable power directly to the hotel.
The Outcome
Since commissioning, the solar PV system has delivered substantial reductions in electricity costs and carbon emissions, providing Park Plaza Cannock with a predictable, long-term energy advantage. Thanks to Eden Sustainable’s CAPEX model, the hotel now benefits from renewable energy generation without any capital outlay, preserving cash flow while enhancing sustainability credentials.
The project stands as a testament to Eden Sustainable’s ability to combine technical excellence with innovative funding solutions, empowering commercial clients to transition to clean energy with confidence and ease.
